Head of Bancassurance, Partnership Distribution (Insurance)

A fast-moving local Insurance Group is looking for a strategic Head of Bancassurance to drive the business of Bank Channel.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve the sales targets of Bancassurance Channel, manage its P&L and prepare sales & budget plans

• Penetrate the banks channel and build the relationship & strive for business excellence

• Formulate & implement business development and establish new Partners

• Develop promotion and marketing campaigns to enhance the relationship with business partners to enable the business growth

• Build various systems on sales support, training and coaching to business partners

• Work cross functionally to drive and enhance the operational processes which support the growth of the brokerage business

• Assist in planning, budgeting, organizing and executing the marketing strategies, promotions and events

• Gather market intelligence and contribute to overall product and marketing strategies

• Monitor sales and operation functions to ensure all business activities comply with internal and external regulatory requirements

• Lead the team to achieve the business targets and provide sales team management and coach account managers to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Business Administration, Economics & Finance, Marketing or related disciplines

• Over 10 years of working experience in Bancassurance channel

• Possess insurance related qualifications e.g., IIQE Paper I & III, FLMI, etc.

• Strategic and well planned

• High level of integrity and honesty

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong presentation and relationship management skills

• Ability to build sound relationship with business partners

• Proficiency in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant General Manager
