THE JOB

Reporting to and under the leadership of the IT Manager, the Part-Time Assistant Information Technology Manager (System Development) will primarily be responsible for collaborating, coordinating and monitoring all tasks that leads to the seamless implementation of a new cloud-based Oracle Fusion Application (OFA).

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as Finance Department (FNC) and users to ensure a seamless implementation process;
  • Collaborate with the cloud service provider to set up the necessary cloud infrastructure and configuration of the cloud environment to meet the OFA requirements and in ensuring security, scalability, and performance;
  • Monitor compliance with cloud security standards and best practices;
  • Collaborate with the cloud service provider and internal stakeholders (FNC, users, etc.) in the installation and deployment of the OFA on the cloud infrastructure and the integration of the OFA with other enterprise systems, such as Procurement System and Human Capital System;
  • Collaborate with cloud service provider and internal stakeholders in the implementation of data migration strategies to seamlessly transfer FNC data from the existing on-premises systems to the OFA;
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders in developing test plans to validate the functionality, integration, and performance of the OFA that meets FNCs requirements and user expectations; and
  • Participate in ballpark quotations and tender exercises related to other system development (e.g. website maintenance, e-marketing SaaS), involving the preparation of documents, coordination with user departments, and vendor sourcing.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • A university degree in Information Technology or related disciplines;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills; and
  • A minimum of 6 years' proven experience in Information Technology, which includes 1 year of implementing a financial system on cloud platform (OFA is advantageous);
  • Familiar with FNC processes and workflows;
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations;
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
