THE JOB

Reporting to the Head Badminton Coach, the Assistant Badminton Coach will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide training for elite and junior squads;
  • Fully utilize and integrate scientific, medical and other athlete support services into the elite training programme to enhance elite youth training outcomes;
  • Assist with the administration and coordination of logistics, accounting, coaching and team resources related to local and overseas squad training and competitions; and
  • Assist the HKSI and the Badminton Association of Hong Kong, China with coach education programmes.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • A University degree or post-secondary Certificate/ Diploma, or its equivalent;
  • A valid coaching certificate issued by the relevant governing body;
  • A minimum of 2 years' professional coaching experience in Badminton;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • High level of computer literacy; and
  • Awareness/ knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong are an added advantage.

主要職責

在羽毛球總教練的監督下，助理羽毛球教練須向羽毛球教練匯報工作情況，其職責詳列如下：

  • 負責訓練精英及青少年運動員；
  • 在進行精英訓練計劃時，善用所有運動科學、醫療及其他為運動員而設的支援服務，以加強訓練成果；
  • 在安排運動員於本地及海外集訓或比賽時，須協助統籌有關行政管理、後勤、會計及資源分配等工作；及
  • 協助體育學院及中國香港羽毛球總會的教練培訓工作。

職位要求

  • 大學學位或大專證書、文憑，或同等學歷；
  • 持有由相關機構頒發的有效教練証書；
  • 具備最少兩年羽毛球專業教練經驗；
  • 具備良好溝通能力及人際關係；
  • 熟悉電腦操作；及
  • 認識香港保護兒童及平等機會政策為佳。
