Clinical Officer

THE JOB

Reporting to the Senior Sports Physiotherapist, the Clinical Officer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Assist the Sports Physiotherapists in examination procedures, treatment operation and rehabilitation process;
• Assist Chinese Medicine Practitioners in treatment operation;
• Supervise the usage of Recovery Centre (Sauna Room, Jacuzzi) and other recovery facilities such as hyperbaric chamber;
• Assist the administrative work in Sports Medicine Centre and Sports Medicine Clinic's operation; and
• Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by senior staff.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• A university degree in allied medical and/or sports therapy, or relevant discipline, or its equivalent;
• A minimum of 2 years relevant working experience preferably in relevant practical fields;
• Good command of both spoken and written English & Chinese is preferable;
• Able to work irregular hours and perform shift duties;
• Effective and efficient team player; and
• Awareness / knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong.
