Tester

Job Description

• Perform assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Conduct inspections on electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, or required repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using testing equipment and tools to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out testing of electrical systems and circuit continuity using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, RCD testers, and withstand voltage testers to ensure system safety and compatibility.
• Prepare detailed test reports upon completion of testing activities, including non-compliance reports for any identified defects or issues.
• Take responsibility for assigned products in terms of yield, quality, and test program maintenance or release.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in testing LV Switchgear or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong teamwork skills with a high level of commitment and customer-oriented mindset.
• Proven experience in developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test strategies, test scenarios, and reporting systems.
