About the job Material Handler

  • Responsible for performing daily warehouse and inventory handling activities to support manufacturing operations.

  • Ensure all materials are properly received, stored, and issued while maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners safely and efficiently.

  • Follow company safety policies, quality standards, and customer requirements at all times.

  • Perform routine inventory checks and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.

  • Troubleshoot basic material handling or system issues and escalate when necessary.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities effectively.

  • Adapt quickly to changes in tasks, workload, and assigned work areas.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and workplace environment.

  • Utilize basic computer systems for inventory tracking and reporting.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.

  • Be flexible to work overtime, shifts, weekends, and across multiple operational areas when required.

  • Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain workplace safety.

  • Physically capable of standing, walking for long hours, and lifting up to 45 pounds as needed.
