About the job Material Handler
Ensure all materials are properly received, stored, and issued while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners safely and efficiently.
Follow company safety policies, quality standards, and customer requirements at all times.
Perform routine inventory checks and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Troubleshoot basic material handling or system issues and escalate when necessary.
Work independently with minimal supervision while managing priorities effectively.
Adapt quickly to changes in tasks, workload, and assigned work areas.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and workplace environment.
Utilize basic computer systems for inventory tracking and reporting.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
Be flexible to work overtime, shifts, weekends, and across multiple operational areas when required.
Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain workplace safety.
Physically capable of standing, walking for long hours, and lifting up to 45 pounds as needed.
