Senior Officer - ESG

This is a Group-level ESG role in MSCI ESG Rating AAA industry leader focusing on sustainability excellence.

About Role

• Drive environmental and decarbonization performance in line with HKBNs SBT roadmap through comprehensive monitoring, analysis and internal communications
• Research and benchmark with international standards and best practices to drive improvement in ESG strategy and develop pioneering ESG campaigns
• Manage sustainability rating (MSCI, HSCSI, Sustainalytics etc.)
• Support the development of annual ESG reporting to keep up with growing requirements such as ISSB and TCFD
• Support the ESG agenda development at Board and top-to-senior management level
• Drive internal and external ESG engagement, including corporate social investment initiatives
• Keep proper administrations for the team

About You

• At least 5-year of experience in Sustainability, ESG and Environmental Management in listed company / consultancy firm is highly preferred
• Knowledgeable in carbon accounting
• Knowledgeable in sustainability reporting, indices and international standards
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Experience in driving staff and community engagement activities is preferred.
• Strong in data management, analytical, and attentive to details
• Self-motivated, can perform tasks independently and comfortable with innovations and changes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Chinese and English Word Processing, preferably with experience in simple design
