Graphic Designer - Digital Prepress (ZR-610)
Job Description:
Horizon Tech is seeking a skilled Part-Time Digital Prepress to support our growing production and creative operations. This role is responsible for preparing, optimizing, and outputting digital files for a wide range of custom print and retail display applications using industry-leading tools and technologies.
The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in digital graphics, prepress workflows, and digital printing, along with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to quality. This position works closely with production, project management, and customer service teams to ensure accurate, high-quality output and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and optimize customer artwork for print across multiple substrates and formats
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and related design/prepress software to ensure files meet production specifications
- Manage preflight, color correction, resizing, and layout adjustments as needed Operate and support digital printing systems, including large-format printers, RIP software, and finishing equipment
- Maintain consistency in color management and print quality standards
- Troubleshoot file, color, and production issues proactively
- Support continuous improvement of workflows, efficiency, and quality control Collaborate with internal teams to meet deadlines and production goals
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Moderate to extensive experience in digital graphics, prepress, and digital printing
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Effective time management and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the retail display graphics or commercial printing industry
- Hands-on experience with large-format digital printers, RIP software, and finishing systems
- Knowledge of color management and print production best practices
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

- Job Timings: Night shift following US EST (Part Time).
- Office location: Shaheed-E-Millat Road, off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.
