Print Production & Order Coordinator ( ZR-697)
Job Description:
Horizon Tech is looking for a Print Production & Order Coordinator who will own the entire process from order to print. This includes reviewing customer requests, identifying their exact requirements, preparing print-ready files, and ensuring orders move smoothly through production.
This is not a client-facing role you won't be on sales calls or managing accounts. But it's also not a role where a manager spoon-feeds you tasks. You'll read the customer's own emails and inquiries and pull the requirements straight from the source: product, quantity, artwork, sizing, finish, and deadline. You connect the dots and run with it. We trust you to read the brief and get it right.
Responsibilities:
- Build print-ready files. Set up customer artwork to our print specifications, including correct sizing, bleed, resolution, and color (CMYK) for coasters, magnets, towels, placemats, DTG apparel, and more. Flag and fix anything that won't print clean.
- Process orders. Read incoming emails and inquiries, interpret what the customer actually needs, set up the order, confirm specifications, and move it into production. Keep details accurate so nothing gets reprinted.
- Catch the gaps. When a request is unclear or artwork won't work as-is, you spot it early and resolve it not after it's printed.
- Create marketing email templates. Design clean, reusable templates for email blasts and promotions.
- Make social media posts. Produce post graphics and copy that showcase our products and seasonal offers.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience preparing print-ready files using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent software, including bleed, resolution, color modes, and file formats.
- Comfort reading a customer's email and extracting the actual requirements without someone translating them for you.
- Strong attention to detail you double-check sizing, quantities, and artwork before anything goes to print.
- Self-directed and organized, with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines without step-by-step supervision.
- A good eye for layout and design, with the ability to create marketing templates and social media posts that look polished.
- Clear written English for confirming order details internally.
