Social Media and Marketing Specialist (ZR_618)

 Job Description:

Horizon Tech seeking a proactive and organised Social Media & Marketing Specialist to manage and expand the brand presence of Tenacious Marketing Inc. This role involves overseeing social media platforms, developing promotional product presentations, supporting client meetings, and assisting in marketing operations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, dependable, eager to learn, and confident in client communication.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and regularly update the project dashboard/status board in Trello and review progress with the owner.
  • Create detailed step-by-step SOPs for internal processes and contribute to building scalable company infrastructure.
  • Conduct daily check-ins and extended weekly meetings with the owner to review plans and deliverables.

  • Assist in client meetings by taking notes, presenting materials, and preparing follow-ups.

  • Research vendors, products, pricing, and cost-saving opportunities for assigned projects.

  • Set up and optimise business social media accounts on Facebook and Instagram, including handle research and access management.
  • Manage and grow social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.

  • Develop content aligned with the company's brand voice.

  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages; report new leads to the owner.

  • Post completed project photos and descriptions on social media and eventually on the website.

  • Develop marketing collateral including 1-pagers and sell sheets.

  • Collaborate with the owner to develop a comprehensive marketing and social media strategy.

  • Create customised presentations and sales pitches for different clients.

  • Develop client-specific promotional product presentations.

  • Edit and refine presentations based on client feedback.

  • Research and recommend the best vendors based on quality and pricing.

Nice To Have Skills:
  • Develop technical design templates in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop.

  • Clean up technical designs after edits.

  • Implement simple client-requested design changes.

  • Prepare final print-ready files including bleed and overlap settings.

Requirements
  • 2 – 4+ years of experience in social media management, content marketing, or marketing operations.

  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication skills – comfortable interacting with clients and supporting live/virtual meetings.

  • Positive approach, can-do attitude, and willingness to learn.

  • Flexible and adaptable to a creative and always changing work environment.

  • Dependable and conscientious with clients.

  • Capable of upholding high standards of work and professionalism.

  • Some design experience preferred but not required.
