Horizon Tech is seeking a skilled professional Signage Engineer / CAD Designer to join our engineering department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architectural signage, with a solid understanding of product design, construction, and fabrication methods, including sheet metal, tube, and steel fabrication. They should be proficient in creating accurate shop drawings, interpreting architectural drawings, and adding connection details for signage and letter forms to existing steel structures and buildings. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed, accurate shop drawings for architectural signage projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and production teams to translate design intent into manufacturable drawings.
• Utilize CAD software, predominantly SolidWorks, but experience with other platforms is also valuable.
• Use CorelDRAW or similar software for producing detailed shop drawings and vector-based designs.
• Interpret and integrate architectural drawings, including connection details for signage installation on existing structures.
• Provide problem-solving support during project execution, addressing engineering challenges and optimizing production processes.
• Maintain organized project documentation and ensure timely delivery of drawings to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in architectural signage design and engineering, preferably in commercial or environmental signage projects.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (required) with the ability to perform 3D modeling and technical drawing creation.
• Strong knowledge of CorelDRAW for signage shop drawings.
• Proven ability to interpret and execute complex architectural and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with sheet metal, tube, and steel fabrication techniques, as well as signage materials and standards.
• Understanding of industry codes and standards (e.g., ADA compliance, UL certification).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required)and experience in ai tools will be an added advantage

• Job Timings: Evening shift 5:30 pm to 2:00 am.
• Office location: Off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, PECHS, Karachi.
