Inside Sales & Lead Generation Specialist

Horizon Tech is looking for a proactive and results-driven Inside Sales & Lead Generation Specialist to help grow our signage business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, managing inbound sales inquiries, building strong customer relationships, and closing sales. The ideal candidate is confident in outbound prospecting, experienced in inside sales, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience while expanding the company's presence in the local market.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to drive business growth.
  • Research and identify prospective businesses using Yellow Pages, Apollo.io, Google Maps, LinkedIn, and other online resources.
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify prospects and schedule appointments when required.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone and email.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable signage solutions.
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on proposals.
  • Negotiate and close sales while providing excellent customer service.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospects, customers, sales activities, and pipeline status in the CRM.
  • Follow up on open quotations and inactive opportunities to maximize conversions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and provide product information.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the production and installation process.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and customer referrals.
  • Represent the company professionally and contribute to a positive brand image within the local business community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation.
  • Experience using prospecting tools such as Yellow Pages, Apollo.io, LinkedIn, Google Maps, or similar platforms.
  • Strong cold calling, prospecting, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to convert leads into customers and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in the signage, printing, promotional products, or visual communications industry.
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Existing network of local business contacts.
  • Experience in B2B sales and account management.
