Horizon Tech is looking for a AutoCAD Drafting Specialist to assist with technical drawings for cabinetry projects. This is a remote, contract/project-based role, with flexible hours. Candidates must ensure all files are fully compatible with AutoCAD 2013 and 2014, as drawings will be shared and edited within our platform. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cabinetry and millwork drawings based on design input.
• 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings is recommended.
• Deliver files saved/exported in AutoCAD 2013/2014 format.
  
• Communicate remotely to review revisions and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings are precise, editable, and construction-ready.
• Maintain accuracy in dimensions, specifications, and cabinetry standards.
• Annotation Scale ¼ = 1-0 is preferred.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD with the ability to export in 2013/2014 formats.
• 2+ years of Experience drafting cabinetry, millwork, or interior design projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret design concepts.
• Reliable communication for remote collaboration.
• Ability to meet deadlines on a per-project basis.
• The ability to work exclusively with our Cabico Cabinetry Lines. Essence, Unique, and Elmwood.
• Our Spectrum Catalogue will be available to the draftsman.
  

Important Skills that are necessary:

• Easy-going, approachable, and collaborative personality. We value a calm, friendly, and solution-focused approach. Open to collaborating on each different design options for customer requests and lifestyles.
• Experience with kitchen and bath cabinetry drawings.
• Familiarity with North American cabinetry standards. Working with the Cabico Catalogue Spectrum, which will be provided.
• Prior experience preparing shop drawings for contractors/designers.
