Graphic Designer (ZR-295)

 Job Description:


This is a working graphic design position. The position is responsible for all design, layout, and proofing of our customer's signs. In addition to graphic design, this position is expected to interact with our clients and help maintain continuous communication throughout the order process.


Expertise in Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop required Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to take initiative and work well as a team Detail oriented and works efficiently Can-do positive attitude problem solver


Provide design, layouts, and detailed proofs for customer approval Provide scaled images and artwork for quoting, proofing, and permitting proofs Create Print/cut-ready art files for production Interact with clients through Corebridge, email or phone Customer Service Answer the phone and assist clients or take messages when needed to maintain continuous communication with clients through the ordering process Utilize Corebridge for job details, proofing and updating product status To ensure the project is completed to Sequoia Signs & Graphics, Inc. standards and on-time.


Assist with loading wide format roll-to-roll printers for printing purposes when necessary. Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of the image. Know how and when to use each technique. Perform finishing operations such as laminating, mounting, installing hardware, preparing finishing touches to completed signs, and/or mounting printed pieces.
