Horizon Tech is looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor with 1 to 2 years of experience in editing short-form and promotional video content. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling skills, knowledge of modern editing techniques, and hands-on experience with AI-powered editing tools to create engaging content for social media platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Edit high-quality reels, shorts, promotional videos, and ad creatives for social media platforms
• Create engaging video ads for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
• Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, and background music professionally
• Convert raw footage into polished marketing content
• Create attention-grabbing hooks and high-retention short-form content
• Use AI-powered tools for auto captions, voice enhancement, smart cuts, background cleanup, and AI-assisted editing
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams for campaign-based content creation
• Maintain brand consistency across all video content
• Optimize videos according to platform requirements and current trends
• Manage multiple editing projects within deadlines

SKILLS:

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on video editing experience
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
• Knowledge of social media trends and viral editing styles
• Experience editing reels, shorts, podcasts, promotional videos, and ad creatives
• Familiarity with AI-based editing workflows and productivity tools
• Strong time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Basic motion graphics and animation skills
• Experience with AI voice tools and AI avatars
• Knowledge of color grading and cinematic editing
