Horizon Tech is looking for an experienced Sign Estimator who understands the signage industry and can accurately price projects from concept to completion.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and confident, working with a U.S.-based team. If you also have design/layout experience, that's a strong plus but the primary focus of this role is estimating, takeoffs, and reading project requirements/blueprints accurately.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Preparing accurate estimates for a wide range of signage projects
• Reading and interpreting construction blueprints, drawings, specifications, and client requirements
• Understanding materials, fabrication methods, and installation requirements for pricing
• Coordinating with sales and production teams to ensure accurate quoting and job planning
• Managing multiple estimates/projects while meeting deadlines
• Communicating clearly with U.S.-based teammates and clients
• Suggesting cost-effective production solutions and alternatives
• Assisting with layouts or markups when needed (plus, not required)

Tools & Systems You'll Use:

• Estimating software/spreadsheets
• Construction drawings/blueprint takeoff tools
• CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, FlexiSign, or similar(working knowledge preferred)
• Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Communication tools (Zoom, Slack, Teams, Email)

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of experience in sign estimating
• Strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication, permitting, and installation processes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/construction blueprints and specs
• Experience pricing custom signage projects accurately and competitively
• Familiarity withCorelDRAW, Illustrator, or sign industry software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Clear and professional English communication skills
• Self-starter, disciplined, and accountable
• Positive attitude and strong problem-solving mindset
• Design/layout experience is a plus, but not required
