Horizon Tech is hiring a hands-on Full-Stack Web Developer (Magento 2) to help build and scale a startup core platform. You'll work across frontend and backend, collaborate with UI/UX and QA, and support Magento 2 development and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend (web app and supporting services) 
• Develop core systems, including:  
• Affiliate System: user accounts, affiliate IDs, QR code generation 
• Tracking & Attribution Engine: QR scan capture, visitor/session tracking, attribution logic, basic fraud prevention controls 
• Magento 2 Integration: custom modules, buyback/trade-in flow integration, order and event tracking 
• Commission & Payment System: commission logging, dashboards, payout processing integrations 
• Implement responsive UI components and integrate designs provided by UI/UX (with light UI input as needed) 
• Build and maintain backend services: APIs, authentication, business logic, and database models 
• Work directly in Magento 2 to implement enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain integrations 
• Integrate third-party services (payment providers, analytics/tracking, shipping, CRM, etc.) as required 
• Debug and resolve issues across frontend, backend, and Magento; improve performance and reliability
• Maintain clean code practices: version control (Git), documentation, and secure coding standards
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX Designer and QA Tester to ensure quality releases

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Web Developer (frontend + backend) delivering production applications 
• Hands-on experience with Magento (Magento 2 preferred), including customizations and/or module development 
• Strong understanding of APIs (REST), databases, authentication, and integrations 
• Solid frontend skills (responsive UI, modern JavaScript, HTML/CSS); ability to implement designs accurately 
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills and attention to detail 
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with clear, proactive communication 
• Nice to have: experience with QR-based flows, tracking/attribution, affiliate systems, fraud prevention, or commission/payout platforms

• Job Timings: Night shift following 7 pm till 4 am PKT. 
  
• Office location: Shaheed-E-Millat Road, off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.
