Digital Marketing Specialist - SEO & Social Media (ZR - 469)
Job Description:
Horizon Tech is currently looking for a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist with hands-on experience in social media management, SEO, and Google Ads to join our client's creative team. Our Client is a fast-growing full-service marketing and design agency specializing in bold, results-driven print and digital strategies for local and regional businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- After training and gaining an understanding of our business operations, create, schedule, and publish content across major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Conduct basic SEO optimization for website content and social posts (keywords, meta tags, headers, internal linking).
- Monitor social engagement, respond to comments and messages, and organically grow your audience.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social content and campaigns with overall business goals.
- Work with the All-In-One SEO plugin for on-page optimization in WordPress.
- Implement and manage Schema markup and apply Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) techniques to target featured snippets and voice search opportunities.
- Manage Google My Business listings, including basic keyword targeting, image tagging, and adding products in conjunction with our main and e-commerce websites.
- Track and report performance metrics for social media and ad campaigns using analytics tools like Google Analytics.
- Stay up-to-date on digital marketing trends, social media algorithms, and platform best practices.
- Use strategic hashtag practices to increase post visibility and engagement.
Requirements:
- Understanding of SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Knowledge of content scheduling tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
- Basic video editing skills for social media (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, etc.).
- 2 - 3 years of experience managing business digital marketing accounts across multiple platforms.
- Working knowledge of Google Ads and entry-level SEO principles.
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google My Business, and Google Analytics.
- Understanding of digital marketing funnels and performance tracking.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling, engaging posts.
- Proficiency with content creation tools; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and keen attention to detail.

- Job Timings: Night shift following CST (Full-Time).
- Office location: Off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, PECHS, Karachi.
