Horizon Tech is hiring a high-performance Team Lead – Graphic Design to drive creative excellence across a fast-paced, multi-industry environment. This role is built for individuals who don't just design - but lead, think, optimize, and innovate using AI at scale. You will be responsible for managing a team, handling client-facing communication, and ensuring that every output meets modern design standards, fast turnaround expectations, and AI-enhanced efficiency. This is not a conventional design role. We are specifically looking for someone who operates at the intersection of design, technology, and AI-driven execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of designers with a strong focus on performance, accountability, and output quality
  
• Own end-to-end project execution - from understanding client requirements to final delivery
  
• Communicate confidently with clients, extract clear requirements, and translate them into actionable creative direction
  
• Ensure strict adherence to deadlines, prioritization, and workflow efficiency
  
• Review and approve all creative work to maintain high standards across projects
  
• Identify bottlenecks and proactively implement solutions to improve team productivity

AI-First Responsibilities (Non-Negotiable):

• Integrate AI into every stage of the creative process - from ideation to execution
  
• Actively use AI to reduce turnaround time, enhance creativity, and increase output quality
  
• Stay ahead of industry trends by adopting and testing new AI tools regularly
  
• Drive AI adoption within the team and ensure practical, results-driven implementation

• Solid understanding of layout, typography, and brand consistency
  
• Working knowledge of video editing/motion design is a strong advantage

4. AI Mastery & Prompt Engineering (Core Requirement)

This role requires advanced, practical AI expertise. Basic familiarity will not be sufficient.

AI Tools:

• ChatGPT, Google Gemini (or equivalent)
  
• MidJourney, DALL·E, and other image-generation tools
  
• AI video tools such as:
  
  • InVideo (latest versions including VO3 or equivalent)
    
  • Runway ML
    
  • Pika Labs
    
  • Synthesia or similar platforms

Prompt Engineering (Critical Skill):

• Ability to convert raw ideas, voice notes, or rough instructions into precise, structured, high-output prompts
  
• Deep understanding of how prompt structure impacts AI results
  
• Ability to refine, iterate, and optimize prompts for consistent, high-quality outputs
  
• Capability to use AI itself to generate and improve prompts effectively
  
• Ability to train and elevate team members in prompt usage and AI workflows

Expectation:

Tools & Software Requirements:

A strong working understanding of industry-standard design and productivity tools is essential for this role. While the position is primarily focused on leadership and oversight, the candidate must possess sufficient hands-on experience to effectively evaluate work quality, guide team members, and ensure accurate execution across projects. This includes familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), along with supporting platforms like Canva (including its AI capabilities), CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro, as well as general productivity tools within the Microsoft Office Suite and common communication platforms.

However, the core expectation of this role lies in advanced proficiency and practical application of AI-powered tools. The candidate must be highly skilled in leveraging platforms such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, MidJourney, and DALL·E for content generation, ideation, and visual development. In addition, strong familiarity with AI-driven video creation tools such as InVideo (including latest versions like VO3 or equivalent), Runway ML, Pika Labs, and similar technologies is critical. The ability to integrate these tools into workflows, optimize outputs through effective prompt engineering, and guide teams in utilizing AI efficiently will be a key differentiator for success in this role.
