Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)/E-commerce Manager (ZR-520)
Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and highly experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) / E-commerce Manager to lead and manage our entire e-commerce business across multiple channels, including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify, and Dropshipping. This executive-level role requires both high-level strategic thinking and operational oversight to drive growth, profitability, and market expansion.
You will be responsible for overseeing all eCommerce teams, ensuring optimal performance, aligning KPIs, and leading the charge on digital transformation, commercial partnerships, and omnichannel expansion.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive eCommerce growth strategy across all platforms and channels.
- Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify, and dropshipping operations.
- Work closely with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
Marketplace Management (Amazon, eBay, Walmart):
- Oversee listings, pricing, product assortment, PPC/ads, inventory planning, and customer experience on each marketplace.
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and maintain top seller ratings.
- Leverage marketplace tools for automation, repricing, and analytics (e.g., Helium 10, JungleScout, ChannelAdvisor).
Shopify & DTC Operations:
- Manage the DTC strategy through Shopify, including conversion optimisation, product launches, sales funnels, and CRO.
- Supervise the UX/UI, mobile optimisation, and app integrations.
- Coordinate with marketing for email/SMS campaigns, social commerce, and retention strategies.
Dropshipping Operations:
- Oversee the dropshipping team and ensure efficient supplier relationships, product testing, fulfilment, and dispute resolution.
- Maintain quality control and optimise delivery timelines using platforms like DSers, CJ Dropshipping, Spocket, etc.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor channel-specific teams (Amazon Team, Shopify Team, Dropshipping Team, etc.).
- Hire, train, and manage the performance of internal staff and freelancers/contractors.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration across marketing, operations, logistics, and customer support.
Data & Analytics:
- Analyse performance reports, sales data, and customer trends across all platforms to identify opportunities and risks.
- Implement business intelligence tools and dashboards to track channel-level performance.
Partnerships & Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with key vendors, 3PLs, SaaS providers, and advertising agencies.
- Negotiate contracts and SLAs to ensure cost efficiency and scalability.
Must Haves
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-channel eCommerce management.
- Proven track record of scaling eCommerce businesses across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify, and dropshipping.
- Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, fulfilment processes, and compliance rules.
- Familiar with eCommerce tools: Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart Seller Centre, eBay Seller Hub, and automation platforms.
- Data-driven with excellent skills in Excel, Google Analytics, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international eCommerce (US, UK, EU, AUS, etc.)
- Knowledge of B2B wholesale or private-label business models
- Background in digital marketing (PPC, SEO, Affiliate, Influencer)
- MBA or equivalent business/commerce degree
