Contract Details: Full-time; Salary AUD 75,000 to 90,000 plus super

Melbourne Juniors is a leading childcare centre located in Preston, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Childcare Teacher or Educator to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of AUD 75,000 to 80,000 per year.

As an Early Childcare Teacher or Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will work closely with a team of passionate and skilled educators to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and programs for children in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each child

- Observe and assess children's development and provide feedback to parents/guardians

- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and build strong relationships with families

- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times

- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities

- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the quality of care and education provided

- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations set by the center and regulatory bodies

Qualifications and Experience:

- Certificate 3 or above in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)

- Minimum of 12 months experience working in a childcare setting

- Sound knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices

- Current First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis training

- Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain)
