Contract Details: Full-time; Salary $75,000 to $85,000 plus super

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at Genesis Painting Australia Pty Ltd. As a leading painting company in the industry, we are committed to delivering high-quality and professional painting services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, and filling holes and cracks

- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns

- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades

- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas

- Repair and replace damaged drywall, wood, or plaster

- Clean and maintain painting equipment

- Communicate with clients to understand their painting needs and preferences

- Ensure all safety measures are followed during the painting process

- Complete projects within specified timeframes and budget constraints

- Provide recommendations for paint types and finishes based on the project requirements

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Proven 12 month of experience minimum as a Painter in a similar role

- Knowledge of painting techniques and tools

- Familiarity with different types of paint and finishes

- Ability to work independently and in a team setting

- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III) and certifications are preferred but not required
