As a Chef at Smokin Joes Pizza & Grill, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious dishes for our customers. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that all meals are prepared to our high standards and delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and customer requests

- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner

- Monitor food quality and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

- Manage inventory and stock levels to ensure ingredients are always available

- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times

Requirements:

- Proven at least 1 year of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment

- Certificate IV in commercial cookery/kitchen management or equivalent

- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a team and lead by example

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Passion for food and creativity in the kitchen

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Must have a valid work visa for Australia
