Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Cook to join our team at Indian Curry Hutt Logan. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to our menu and recipes

- Ensure all dishes are cooked to the highest quality and presentation standards

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards

- Assist with menu planning and development, including creating new and innovative dishes

- Monitor and manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed

- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency in food preparation and quality

- Collaborate with management to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines

- Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 12 months experience as a Cook in a restaurant or catering setting

- Knowledge and understanding of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once

- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Must have a valid Food Safety Certificate

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is $75000 to $82000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, opportunities for career growth and development, and staff discounts on meals.
