Maple Indian Gourmet Restaurant is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team in Kippa-Ring, QLD. As a full-time Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to our menu and recipes

- Ensure high quality and consistency in all dishes served

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times

- Monitor and manage inventory levels and food costs

- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to food safety and sanitation standards

- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant

- Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or above relevant qualification

- Strong knowledge of Indian spices and cooking techniques

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends


Salary: $73150 to $76000 plus Superannuation
