Hospitality Nation Pty Ltd is a leading construction company based in Queensland. We specialize in building high-quality homes and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform residential carpentry duties such as building frameworks, installing sub-flooring, attaching exterior cladding, and finishing interior fixtures.

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard

- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using rulers, squares, or marking gauges

- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients

- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using carpenter's hand and power tools

- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

- Inspect and repair wood structures and fixtures for damage or wear

- Select and order materials and supplies needed for projects

- Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget

- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Carpenter

- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as safety practices

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans

- Proficient in using hand and power tools

- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods of time

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in carpentry

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in carpentry or above, preferably in residential construction

- Additional certifications or licenses in carpentry or related fields are a plus

Salary and Benefits:

- Salary range of $73150 - $80000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
