Salary Package: $72,500 to $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and professional Chef to join our culinary team, to bring culinary excellence to our guests. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes that contribute to our customers' overall satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate in the preparation and development of food and beverage menus, including cost estimation and food supply ordering.

Prepare and present high-quality dishes with an emphasis on both aesthetics and taste.

Maintain food quality and safety standards through food preparation, cooking, freezing, and preservation.

Ensure efficient kitchen operations that meet our quality standards.

Address and resolve any challenges that arise in the kitchen, including food preparation issues.

Enforce sanitation and safety regulations.

Cultivate a positive and professional work environment, serving a diverse range of cultures.

Utilize autonomous work practices effectively.

Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and modern cooking techniques.

React swiftly and effectively in emergency situations, providing solutions.

Familiarity with industry best practices.

Thorough knowledge of hygiene regulations and the ability to enforce them.

Assist in staff selection and training.

Maintain a consistent employment history.


Skills and Experience:

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or above qualification is required.

The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience.

Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.

To be energetic, motivated and able to work under pressure.

Expertise in food preparation, including adherence to health regulations.

A polished appearance and a strong work ethic.

A commitment to delivering high-quality, diverse meals on time and within budget.
