With a strong commitment to 24/7 support tailored to individual needs, they are now expanding their team in Sutton Town, South Australia and surrounding areas to meet the growing demand for disability care services.

About the Role

Serene Country Living is seeking Aged & Disabled Carers for full-time positions, offering an annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily activities, ensuring engagement and inclusion.

Support mobility and movement, including prescribed exercises.

Plan and prepare nutritious meals based on dietary needs.

Organize social activities and outings to promote well-being.

Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.

Assist with personal hygiene and dressing with dignity and respect.

Provide emotional support and companionship to foster trust and connection.

Run errands and shopping for essential needs.

Administer medications, if required, and maintain records.

Monitor and document client health, reporting concerns to healthcare

professionals.

Assist with physical therapy exercises to improve strength and mobility.

Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed.

Coordinate medical appointments and transportation.

Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.

Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

A relevant qualification in aged and disabled care

A minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role

Experience using assistive technologies (wheelchairs, walkers etc.)

Certification in caregiving, first aid, and CPR

A clear criminal background check

Physical fitness for lifting and transferring clients

Strong communication and documentation skills

Cultural sensitivity and respect for diverse backgrounds

Dependability, punctuality, and a passion for making a difference
