Requirements:

- Must hold a valid White Card

- Must have a Cert 3 in carpentry

- Previous experience in luxury residential builds, renovations, and extensions preferred

- Ability to work independently and in a team

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and time-management skills

- Must be physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials

- Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim

- Inspect and repair damaged structures and fixtures

- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

- Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

- Provide guidance and support to apprentice carpenters

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques

- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum of 12 months of experience as a carpenter

- Cert 3 in carpentry or equivalent qualification

- Experience in luxury builds, renovations, and extensions preferred

- Knowledge of building codes and regulations

- Proficient in using hand and power tools

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

- Strong understanding of safety procedures and guidelines

- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
