The firm plays a leading role in providing management consulting services to clients in key sectors of the economy (Power, Oil & Gas, Financial Services, and Manufacturing, etc.) in Nigeria and the West Coast.

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Consultant provides strategic HR guidance, designs and implements workforce solutions, and supports organizational effectiveness while contributing to business growth by identifying opportunities for HR-driven initiatives and client engagement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Human Resource Consultant will be assigned the following primary responsibilities, among others:

  • Conduct HR audits and assessments to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Advise clients or internal departments on HR policies, compliance, and best practices.
  • Design and implement HR programs related to talent management, employee engagement, performance, and succession planning.
  • Serve as the main liaison between the organization and clients, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions or advice.
  • Manage client accounts, track engagement, and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of products or services.
  • Identify opportunities to expand services, upsell solutions, and contribute to business development.
  • Resolve client issues or escalations efficiently and professionally.
  • Prepare client reports, feedback summaries, and engagement metrics for management.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

  • Quality and impact of HR recommendations and interventions
  • Client or stakeholder satisfaction with HR support
  • Timeliness and effectiveness in implementing HR initiatives
  • Improvement in organizational HR metrics (e.g., retention, engagement, compliance)
  • Contribution to HR-driven business outcomes

REQUIREMENTS

  • HR or related background with a 2:1 or first class from a top-tier university
  • A second degree or professional qualification is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) are an added advantage
  • Minimum of 35 years of hands-on HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
