On-page SEO Specialist
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years of experience with SEO principles, tools, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of on-page SEO ranking factors, keyword research, competitor analysis, and content planning.
- Hands-on skills in WordPress CMS, HTML, and CSS.
- Comfortable writing SEO-driven user-centric content and managing content workflows.
- Proficient in SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics/Search Console.
- Organized, self-directed, and results-driven.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with our SEO Manager and content team to develop and implement effective SEO strategies that align with business objectives, increase brand visibility, and improve user experience.
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
- Continually assess the effectiveness of strategy performance by conducting keyword research, website performance analyses, content gap analyses, competitor analyses, and comprehensive content SEO audits.
- Add pages and update content directly within WordPress CMS platform.
- Use basic HTML and CSS to ensure clean formatting, structure, and on-page elements.
- Monitor keyword performance, backlink profiles, and site health via Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, etc.
- Stay up to date on algorithm changes and organic search trends.
Expectations include:
- Build high-quality web pages through comprehensive SEO strategy, SEO-driven content creation, and implementation on WordPress CMS.
- Improve search engine ranking through strategic keyword targeting and experience, expertise, authority, and trust (EEAT).
- Key performance indicators include keyword position tracking (KPT) and impressions, clicks, and organic traffic (users/sessions and conversions) from search engine platforms like Google, Bing, and Yahoo!.
Compensation includes:
- $60,000-$70,000 annual
- Flexible hours

- 12-day PTO accrual (1-day per month worked)
