Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience with search engine algorithms, crawling, indexing, and ranking factors.
  • Consistent track record of optimizing large, complex global websites for search, with hands-on experience in site speed optimization, crawl management, schema markup, international targeting, and mobile optimization.
  • Experience working with ticket systems like Jira to request DEV support and monitoring open tickets to ensure issues are completed in a timely fashion.
  • Comfortable collaborating with developers, and managing DEV workflows.
  • Proficient in SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics/Search Console, Google BigQuery, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
  • AI-tool integration is ideal, but not required
  • Organized, self-directed, and results-driven.
  • Comfortable scoping tech SEO issues to include not just symptoms but also problem solve the underlying cause

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with our SEO Manager, content team, and web developers to develop and implement effective SEO strategies that align with business objectives and improve user experience.
  • Drive technical SEO improvements including site speed optimization, mobile-first indexing, schema implementation, and large scale crawl efficiency measures.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve website performance and user experience.
  • Continually assess the effectiveness of strategy performance by conducting comprehensive technical SEO audits.
  • Stay up to date on algorithm changes and organic search trends.

Expectations include:

  • Optimize website performance, user experience, and search engine indexing.
  • Key performance indicators include page speed, Core Web Vitals like largest contentful paint (LCP), interaction to next paint (INP), and cumulative layout shift (CLS), and redirect errors (3xx, 4xx, 5xx).

Compensation includes:

  • $75,000 annual
  • Flexible hours

  • 12-day PTO accrual (1-day per month worked)
