About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Applications Manager – HR to provide leadership and subject matter expertise for HR and Production applications within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

This role will act as the technology business partner for HR systems, including workforce management platforms such as Kronos, and will oversee ERP-related HR application strategy, support, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and operational management for HR and Production-related IT applications.
  • Serve as the technology advisor to business managers on HR and workforce systems.
  • Manage IT application teams, vendors, and service providers.

  • Maintain strong domain knowledge of business processes to maximize technology value.
  • Oversee ERP systems supporting HR and workforce management functions.
  • Support IT leadership with budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and vendor management.
  • Lead project monitoring, controls, and integration using SDLC best practices.
  • Configure, implement, and support third-party HR applications.

  • Drive continuous improvement in application performance and user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technology field
  • 5+ years managing business application support and operations

  • 3+ years managing staff or technical teams

  • Strong experience with Oracle HCM required

  • Experience with HRIS and workforce management systems (e.g., Kronos)
  • ERP application management experience

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and SDLC processes
  • Vendor and budget management experience
