Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based nursing care to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions.
• Follow infection control protocols and standard precautions.
• Conduct thorough health assessments, gathering information from patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Develop personalized nursing care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Implement interventions in line with care standards and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Continuously assess patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.

Clinical Leadership & Team Coordination

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to ensure continuous care.
• Offer mentorship and support to fellow nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital/unit policies.

Qualifications:

• Education: ADN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
• Licensure: Active RN license in Arizona or Compact State RN license.
• Certification: Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross.
• Medical-Surgical Unit: Basic EKG competency within 3 months of hire.
• De-escalation Techniques training within 6 months and every 2 years thereafter.
• One year RN-Med Surg Experience
