Overview:

This role can be based in any office or performed fully remotely, offering the opportunity to work with a top-tier team on high-impact utility and industrial projects involving conventional and renewable energy systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced protection and coordination studies for substations and T&D systems
  • Develop protection schemes, calculate relay settings, and support NERC compliance
  • Conduct arc flash studies, short circuit analysis, and time-current coordination
  • Integrate relay protection with SCADA systems
  • Serve as a technical lead on projects and mentor junior engineers
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management

Tools & Software:
Experience with any of the following is a plus: SEL AcSELerator, GE Enervista, ASPEN Oneliner, SKM PTW, ETAP, RTDS/RSCAD

Qualifications:

  • BSEE required; MSEE (Power focus) preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in protection and control
  • PE license (or equivalent) required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Consulting background and mentoring experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client support
