Job description:
A well-established boutique wealth management firm is seeking a Investment & Operations Associate to support daily operations and client interactions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in client service, is highly organized, proactive, and looking to grow within a collaborative and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily client service requests and ensure timely follow-up.
- Prepare materials for client meetings; attend Zoom and occasional in-person meetings.
- Monitor treasury maturities, support distributions, and process applications and money movement requests.
- Support new client onboarding, including paperwork and custodial coordination (ACATS).
- Maintain and update client records in a paperless environment.
- Assist with eMoney input and maintenance (financial planning software).
- Coordinate with third-party money managers (no internal trading).
- Support client growth and business development initiatives.
- Ensure seamless client experiences and communicate client needs to leadership.
Requirements
- 23 years of client service (CSA) or operations experience in Wealth Management (RIA, family office, etc.).
- FINRA Series 7 or Series 6 license required.
- Experience with investment products and asset classes (equities, fixed income, alternatives, SMAs, 401ks, etc.).
- Familiarity with permanent insurance and holistic financial planning a plus.
- Tech-savvy and proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal communication skills, professionalism, and ability to work independently.
- Experience with eMoney, Redtail CRM, or third-party asset management platforms is a plus.
Work Environment
- Initial in-person training during the first month.
- Primarily remote thereafter, with occasional in-office days.
