About the job RN Manager – OR & Surgical Operations
We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager – Operating Room to lead clinical operations at a medical center in Torrance, California. This role is responsible for overseeing the total operations of the Operating Room, managing staff, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care on a 24/7 basis.
The Nurse Manager will provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of skilled OR nurses while ensuring compliance with clinical standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the Operating Room, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-focused care delivery.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop nursing staff to foster a collaborative and engaged team.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Administer budgets, resources, and operational plans for the OR unit.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN).

California Registered Nurse (RN) License.

National Provider BLS – American Heart Association Certification.
- NNR certification for relevant specialty within required timeframe (L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum).

Minimum 5 years of RN experience in a hospital/acute care setting.
- Minimum 5 years of direct RN experience in a dedicated Operating Room.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Nurse Leadership roles (Charge RN, Supervisor, ANM, Manager).
Preferred Qualifications

Masters Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration.

Experience managing Magnet® recognized hospital units.
