Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Registered Nurses to join our Level IV NICU team located near Renton, WA. This is a full-time, on-site position at a leading medical center, offering 12-hour night shifts and an exceptional opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our smallest and most vulnerable patients.
Qualified candidates will bring at least one year of post-graduation NICU experience in a hospital setting and a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care. A $5,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible external hires and rehires who meet program criteria. Relocation assistance may be offered to ideal candidates.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, plan and implement individualized patient care
- Monitor and document changes in condition, administer medications, and communicate with care teams
- Advocate for holistic and ethical care, respecting patient values and rights
- Provide education and foster learning among patients, families, and team members
- Lead within the care team, delegate appropriately, and promote professional collaboration
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, using evidence-based practices to improve outcomes
- Engage in continuous professional development aligned with top-of-license nursing standards
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU RN experience in a hospital setting (required)
- Experience must be post-graduation; clinical rotations or residencies are not applicable
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (required)
- Active Washington State Registered Nurse License (required upon hire)
- BLS certification American Heart Association (required upon hire)
- NRP certification American Academy of Pediatrics (required upon hire)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
