QA Automation Engineer (Remote, Anywhere in Pakistan, USD Salary)

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in test automation.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Hands-on experience testing RESTful APIs (using tools like Postman, Newman, or Karate).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Experience testing across multiple environments (staging, production) and handling cross-browser or cross-device validation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile, web, and backend services.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing when automation is not feasible or when validating new features.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to ensure high-quality releases.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Conduct API testing for integrations (e.g., ERP, payment gateways, booking systems).
• Set up and manage CI/CD test pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Track, report, and prioritize bugs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure coverage across different modules mobile app (Flutter), web portals (ReactJS), and backend services (Node.js + PostgreSQL).
• Work closely with the team to maintain QA documentation and improve testing standards and processes.
