PHP Developer - Laravel & CodeIgniter (Onsite, Evening Shift, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
• Strong expertise in Laravel and CodeIgniter frameworks.
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL/MariaDB and query optimization.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Experience with React or any modern JavaScript framework is a plus.
• Strong experience with Git (GitHub/GitLab).
• Exposure to DevOps tools, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS or similar) is highly preferable.
• Experience integrating payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, local gateways).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Candidates must showcase functional past projects during the hiring process (code submission not required).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP (Laravel & CodeIgniter).
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Integrate APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to deliver high-quality products.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain applications for optimal performance and functionality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability.
• Maintain clear documentation for all development processes and solutions.
