Requirements:

  • One of the certifications is a must-have : ACCA/ CA / CPA.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience in a senior role. Minimum 1 year of experience in the UAE.
  • Have excellent knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Quality standards, quality assurance policy, and procedure.
  • Proficient in UAE VAT and Tax Computations.
  • Proficient in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising and coaching team members.
  • Motivate the team to consistently strive to improve performance.
  • Acquire and maintain an appropriate level of tax, accounting, and compliance regulations knowledge to provide clients with the highest level of services.
  • Define objectives, identify and evaluate trends and options, choose a course of action, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Design KPIs for the team and ensure the team is working towards achieving Short- & Long-term goals.
  • Responsible for achieving KPIs.
  • Maintain quality services by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
  • Direct and oversee all aspects of the client relations and operations being handled by the team.
  • Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets and improve operations and profitability.
  • Ensure all services provided to the clients comply with government regulations and legislation and ensure all clients are tax compliant.
  • Prepare reports for management to show the performance of the team.
  • Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls and delivery of services to clients.
  • Preparing and implementing standard operating procedures and assessing the requirements to timely update the same.
  • Handling a portfolio of premium clients and being the point of contact for clients handled by the back-office team.
  • Analyzing and monitoring the deadlines and deliverables for all the clients are being met.
  • Coordinating with the sales team to ensure clients requirements are completed on time.
  • Ensuring optimum utilization of the resources and that adequate resources are available for handling the requirements of the clients
  • Ensuring the team is competent and well-versed with all the necessary regulations and compliance.
  • Assessing and monitoring the performance of operations team members and providing timely feedback.
  • Designing processes and programs to ensure the team is updated on the regulations which enables them to provide professional advice to the clients.
  • Mentoring the interns and new joiners on operational roles
  • Ensuring adequate pricing is designed and provided to the sales team for custom requirements from clients
  • Ensuring the team communication and client-facing responsibilities are completed and quality is maintained throughout.
  • Addressing and resolving complaints, issues arising from clients and conducting follow-up meetings to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring the renewals are completed on a timely manner and address any delays and highlight to the concerned team.
