Senior DevOps Engineer (Remote, USD Salary)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of DevOps/Platform engineering experience with production systems.
• Strong AWS Lambda expertise; deep understanding of serverless architectures and optimization.
• GitHub Actions proficiency; can build and enhance CI/CD pipelines immediately.
• RDS/PostgreSQL experience: database administration, backup strategies, and performance tuning.
• Understand the applications you're deploying and supporting. Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Can assess existing infrastructure and implement improvements independently.
• Able to contribute from day one with minimal ramp-up time.
• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD best practices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL administration and optimization, as well as Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Experience deploying TypeScript/Node.js applications.
• Background in financial services infrastructure and security best practices.
• Knowledge of AWS Cognito and user authentication systems.
• Familiarity with containers (Docker/Kubernetes) and monitoring tools like DataDog, New Relic, or AWS-native tools.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize and enhance AWS Lambda-based infrastructure and deployments.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS services.
• Work with RDS/PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability optimization.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for Lambda functions.
• Enhance security configurations and AWS IAM policies.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes.
• Debug production issues and optimize system performance.
