Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of IT support experience, including 2 years in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Proven experience with system migrations, network configurations, and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, Entra ID, Intune, and virtual machine management.
- Proficiency in Windows Server (2012-2022), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewalls.
- Solid understanding of PowerShell scripting and network protocols.
- Bachelor's/Masters in Computer Science or related discipline.
- MSCE, MCSA, or Azure Fundamentals certifications.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and ensure high service delivery.
- Proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Experience with Linux, SIEM, XDR, and automating projects with CI/CD tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- CompTIA A+/Network+, ITIL, AWS, or equivalent industry certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide responsive support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals, remotely and on-site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and network configurations.
- Maintain and optimize system performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Assist with managing Windows Server environments (2012-2022), including Active Directory, RDS, and related roles.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, storage systems, and virtual environments (Hyper-V, VMware).
- Manage cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) and Azure Cloud.
- Build, configure, and deploy new systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Oversee IT onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring secure access and configurations.
- Ensure documentation and tracking of all IT assets and resources.
- Perform routine data backups, archiving, and file management to safeguard critical information.
- Collaborate with internal teams on IT projects, deployments, and system upgrades.
- Utilize a ticketing system to track and resolve support requests, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a personal knowledge base and contribute to knowledge-sharing practices.
