Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Product Owner roles in product-based software companies.
- 3+ years specifically within the U.S. healthcare domain (payer/provider/EHR/Care management).
- Strong analytical skills, able to define product metrics, interpret performance data, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of roadmap discipline and roadmap-to-delivery success.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication, including working with clients, tech, and leadership.
- Hands-on with dashboard tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Jira reports, roadmap-tool KPIs, Aha!, product telemetry dashboards) to visualize productivity and team performance.
- Comfortable setting targets and leading improvement cycles based on live metrics and trend analysis.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban, backlog health, and sprint burndown metrics.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT standards.
Responsibilities:
- Own product vision and maintain evolving roadmaps aligned to clinical and business objectives.
- Run regular roadmap reviews and reprioritize based on metrics and feedback.
- Guide Agile teams: backlog grooming, sprint planning, feature prioritization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and guide the Business Analysts translate them into epics/stories.
- Guide the Business Analysts regarding well-formed user stories with clear acceptance criteria; manage requirement quality.
- Track & optimize team performance via metrics such as roadmap adherence (time/scope variances), delivery success rate, feature velocity, cycle/lead time, backlog health, discovery throughput, and adoption/quality measures.
- Help refine business cases and new features.
- Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare and interoperability standards (e.g. FHIR, HL7).
- Coordinate with architects and engineers to support integrations and maintain compliance.
- Mentor junior product owners or business analysts.
- Use tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and road mapping platforms to manage workflows and visualize progress.
