SQA Engineer - Manual & Automation (Onsite, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software QA / testing.Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven experience in manual testing and exposure to test automation.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in data and database testing (SQL required).
• API and Postman testing experience is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Git for version control is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Experience testing cloud-based or microservices applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Conduct data validation and database testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate backend integrations.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like ClickUp, JIRA, Trello, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and business teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or PHPUnit.
• Participate in release planning and validate deployments in staging and production environments.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and continuous improvement processes.
