Senior Accountant (Remote, Lahore, Remittance Salary)

Requirements:

• A professional accounting qualification is mandatory. ACCA is required; CA or CPA is preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience is a must-have.
• 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple client files concurrently.
• Strong working knowledge of Canadian accounting practices, including GST/HST.
• Proven experience completing month-end close independently.
• High attention to detail with strong reconciliation skills.
• Payroll experience and a tech-enabled accounting stack (such as Dext, Plooto, Hubdocs with QBO) is a must-have.

Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for multiple clients simultaneously.
• Complete full month-end close, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, general ledger).
• Manage AP, AR, expense reimbursements, and accruals.
• Prepare and file GST/HST returns and support PSB rebate calculations.
• Support payroll processing
• Maintain clean, audit-ready books in QuickBooks Online.
• Follow established SOPs and timelines; flag issues or risks proactively.
• Support year-end activities, audits, and financial reviews as required.
