Lead Structural Design Engineer (Onsite, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• BSc in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is mandatory, while an MSc in Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in steel structures or PEB design, with proven experience working with PEB manufacturers or steel building companies.
• Preferred universities include UET, NED, NUST, or other equivalent recognized institutions.
• Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP2000 and STAAD Pro, with experience in connection design tools such as IDEA StatiCa (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of PEB design methodology, steel connection design, ETABS, and structural optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the PEB structural design team while reviewing and approving structural calculations, drawings, and complete design packages.
• Perform structural analysis and design of PEB frames, bracing systems, crane beams, mezzanine floors, and secondary members.
• Ensure compliance with relevant design codes and standards including AISC, ASCE, IBC/UBC, and MBMA (preferred).
• Optimize steel design to improve cost efficiency and reduce structural weight.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments including Sales and Estimation, Production and Fabrication, and Project Management and Erection teams.
• Provide technical support during fabrication and site erection while reviewing connection designs and coordinating with detailing teams.
• Support value engineering initiatives during the project design stage.
