Lead Frontend Engineer (Onsite, Karachi, USD Salary)

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in frontend engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript (or equivalent frameworks).
• Proven ability to lead architectural design and scale systems over time.
• Experience managing or mentoring other engineers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and disciplines.
• Experience in startups or fast-moving product teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the build of complex frontend systems at scale with deep expertise in TypeScript, React/Next.js (or similar frameworks).
• Take initiative to understand the why, ask hard questions, and build strong product intuition over time.
• Own the architecture and evolution of the companys frontend platform.
• Lead and scale a high-performance frontend team, setting goals, providing mentorship, and building systems that enable team velocity.
• Make foundational decisions about frameworks, tooling, and long-term technical direction.
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver high-leverage, user-facing experiences.
• Shape engineering processes, promote quality, and ensure excellence in delivery.
• Set and uphold technical standards across the stack, including code quality, testing, and performance.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives across design systems, platform architecture, and internal tooling.
