Lead Backend Engineer - Django (Hybrid, Lahore, Remittance Salary)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Python, including strong expertise in Django and familiarity with frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
• Proven experience in backend development, API design, and working within Agile environments.
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies, including JavaScript and React.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, along with caching systems like Redis and Memcached, and task scheduling tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms and tools, including AWS, Heroku, and Docker.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken English, coupled with strong communication skills and a confident, proactive approach.
• Experience with LLM integrations is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and web applications using Python and Django.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to support integration, with a working understanding of JavaScript and React.
• Manage and optimize relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Lead the backend team, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
