Senior Automation Engineer - SQA (Onsite, Lahore, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in developing software tests for functional and regression testing, including automated and ad-hoc testing.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, a technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Practical knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Software Automation Life Cycle.
• Strong command of different automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of BDD and Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Ability to create automation test plans, maintain documentation, and perform testing across multiple devices, platforms, and browsers.
• Provide input to improve the organizations automation testing framework.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries in SQL Server.
  Collaborate with the development team to resolve identified defects.
• Familiarity with programming languages, preferably Java or Groovy.
• Experience working with Git, Bitbucket, SVN, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Responsibilities:

• Work on the BDD model.
• Develop and review feature files in Gherkin and automate them.
• Develop automated test scripts for new features from the previous (n-1) sprint.
  Develop automated scripts for all regression flows.
• Maintain the complete automation script repository.
• Report, update, and verify defect fixes using the JIRA defect tracking tool.
• Perform manual testing when required.
• Execute automated flows on different servers, including local, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.
